For new REACH Regulation phthalates four restrictions

April 1, 2016, ECHA submitted proposals for restrictions DIBP, DBP, BBP, DEHP four phthalates, the proposal was first put forward by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. Based on the assessment results, it will expand the scope of the proposed restrictions, especially those items for the general population has a significant risk of exposure, such as flooring, bags, coated clothing, wallpaper, mattresses, balls, bathing equipment, shoes, insulation and modeling of wire and cable, decorative items, office supplies, automotive interior parts, hoses and the like. It also provides a number of alternative materials such as plasticizers DPHP (phthalate, di (2-propyl-heptyl) ester), DOTP (dioctyl ester), etc. For more information see the following link:
